With 20+ years of bookkeeping experience and running her own business, she’s seen firsthand how easy it is for tradies to get buried in the day-to-day and fall behind on their books.

After tackling a few renos with her partner (a sparkie), she saw the same story over and over – tradies so flat out on-site they didn’t even have time to send invoices.  She knew exactly what that meant: cash flow drying up, stress piling on, and businesses struggling when they didn’t have to.

That’s why she started Tradies Bookkeeping—to relieve the pressure on hardworking tradies sure they’re getting paid, staying compliant, and keeping their businesses (and sanity) intact.

After smashing 3 Unit Maths at my selective high school, I took a detour – studying Chemical Engineering, then moving into nursing.  But numbers were always my thing, and when I started helping my partner (a sparkie) with his books, I saw how good bookkeeping could take a tradie from stressed and struggling to sorted and thriving.

That’s what got me hooked.  Now, I help tradies get their books in order, stay on top of tax, and keep their cash flow strong – without the headaches.

When I’m not balancing the books, I’m off travelling, eating great food, or ideally—
doing both at the same time.

Through her work with the Master Builders Association NSW, Bettina got involved with the building of the Seaside Community School in Vanuatu in 2017. Since then, she’s not only raised over $8,000 but also visits each year to give hands-on support.

Yes! We offer weekly and monthly fixed-price bookkeeping packages so that you always know what you’re up for and can budget for it.

Yes!! We also offer a special one-off bookkeeping package to clean things up, lodge any outstanding BAS’ or other reports, such as Taxable Payments Annual Reports, to get you back on track, and the ATO off your back.

Of course!!! We are very approachable and easy to talk to, and really make an effort to answer the phone. We totally appreciate that sometimes it’s just so much easier to make a quick call rather than emailing at the end of the day (when you’re tired and home trying to help out with the kids). Also, because of our fixed-price bookkeeping packages, this won’t cost you any extra.

Definitely!!!! One of the first things we do is set up easy-to-understand systems that will give us the information we need to find out how your business is going at any point in time.

Unfortunately not. We are bookkeepers, not accountants, but we have many contacts in the accounting world and we’re happy to give recommendations of accountants we find easy to work with and we think do their job well.
