👋 Meet Bettina from Tradies Bookkeeping
Hi, I’m Bettina – founder of Tradies Bookkeeping and a bookkeeper with 20+ years of experience working with tradies who’d rather be on the tools than stuck doing admin.
This all started when I was helping out my sparkie partner during a reno. I kept seeing the same thing – hardworking tradies flat-out running jobs, with no time (or patience) for chasing invoices, sorting receipts, or dealing with the ATO. The result? Cash flow stress, compliance issues, and a lot of avoidable headaches.
That’s when I realised tradies didn’t need lectures or spreadsheets.
They needed backup. That’s what I do.

A Word from Bettina
After smashing 3 Unit Maths at my selective high school, I studied Chemical Engineering, detoured into nursing, then found my way back to what I love – numbers.
After helping my partner with his books, I realised how powerful it is for a tradie business to have proper systems, clean books, and someone they can count on.
Now, we work with sole traders, small teams, and growing trade businesses – to keep the books tight, the ATO happy, and the stress levels low.
When I’m not balancing the books, I’m usually travelling, eating great food, or (ideally) both.
